Mark Peacock
Musician, Songwriter, Producer

Born in Los Angeles, California, Mark began his music career as a bassist during the burgeoning Punk Rock scene in Hollywood In the 1980's. Starting with "Max Lazer and the Spacerats" he headlined the famed Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, nightclub scene and all parts of Southern California. The band always a crowd favorite with the wild antics Of Max Lazer which mirrored front man Iggy Pop and his show. Additionally, Mark played with the hard rock band "Uncle" which was a regular fixture at the "Whiskey A Go Go" "Starwood" "Troubadour" and many other venues.
Mark played and toured Southern California until "Uncle" broke up and disbanded.
   With a different type of music developing, leaning more towards Keyboards and Electronica, Mark joined the Band "Digital Response" which toured and recorded in the Southern California area. Through the 90's and continuing, Mark has recording and played with various artists, and in 2004 he joined the Rock Band "Bourgeois Pigs" and is currently working their CD to be released soon.
Mark through his music career has pursued his other passion training high quality Equestrian Show Jumping Horses. He has trained numerous Champions and has worked with many top professionals in the equestrian community. He continues to do so in the Los Angeles area where he maintains a business buying, selling and training top quality Show Jumping Horses.
 

        Music has always been a driving force in Mark's life and in 1997 Mark teamed up with his current partner, engineer and producer, Greg Vossberg. The team opened Avilon Music in Burbank, California, where they have produced various Rock, Hip Hop, R&B and Rap acts, as well as, movie and television scoring. The studio is constantly booking Bands of all types of genre's and has earned a great reputation for cutting edge sound and recording. During this time Mark further extended his musical journey into the world of Ambient Trance and Electronica.

   Mark's debut project, SPIRITS IN AMBIENCE, embraces the sounds of global cultures and fuse's them with hypnotic grooves into unique instrumental combinations. Alongside Mark are additional featured musicians. They are: David Norwoods; percussion, J'Anna Jacoby; violin and viola (known for her work with Rod Stewart,) Michael Tovar; lead guitar (known for his work with Los Lobos and Chaka Khan,) and Lee Thornberg; muted trumpet (from Tower of Power.)

   Each artist contributes a unique interpretation into a musical landscape, of which the result is SPIRITS OF AMBIENCE.
