mainFIELDS OF GREEN

Fields of Green

Into a field of green,
I slipped beneath your seem
Where thought's go to travel,
In the silence of my repose

The brush that paints a picture,
Of color and light reflected
A landscape of the view I hold,
Through the eyes of a soaring eagle

As deep as a watery grave,
Where all the shipwrecks are buried,
Inside the stillness holds,
Sorrows humble dwelling

She reached out and took my hand,
And upon her breast I cried,
For in my arms you shall rest,
And in this soul you reside

So into the fields of green,
I dance to the earth's reflection,
Where in my mothers arms,
I commenced my mortal coil

Oh lady it's you of who I dream,
Oh lady I lay in your fields of green
