Grey skies and the recesses of silence

The yearning for your welcome
Whose road led to quiet awareness
Clearly now the reward of neglect
Is the taciturn voice of your heart

As the phantoms dance in the carnival of fools
I labored there while your door was open

You found respite in the arms of another
